About Us
Our story begins in Caracas, Venezuela, where in 2012 our founder Joselyn Tahanian starts with the idea of making desserts.
She has always been passionate about handmade pastries, and started it as a hobby making desserts with family recipes. Soon it became an art and a true passion for baking.
In 2017, our founder moved to the United States with the dream of starting her own baking business. Today she has over 12 years of experience creating desserts for weddings and corporate events of all kinds.
Thus, in 2024 Latin Sweet Bakes LLC was born in Grand Rapids-Michigan, with the goal of bringing our authentic and homemade flavors of Latin pastries to those with a sweet tooth and those looking to make their special moments even more memorable.
